
Thompson Burton, PLLC is pleased to announce that partner Cole Dowsley recently became a Tennessee Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator. Cole has over 15 years of experience representing clients in all types of civil litigation matters. He now looks forward to using that experience as a mediator to assist litigants efficiently and effectively settle their cases. He completed mediation training at the Institute for Conflict Management at Lipscomb University.
Cole’s current practice includes representing businesses and individuals as both plaintiff and defense counsel in trial, arbitration and mediation. In recent years, his practice has concentrated in commercial litigation, including of breach of contract cases, disputes among business owners, non-compete and non-solicitation cases, business torts, fraud and real estate disputes. In the past, Cole’s litigation practice has included premises liability, professional liability, employment law, construction, and personal injury cases.
